The job market is pretty scary these days, and many people feel they can't be choosy
about their job in the current environment. While you may not feel you're in a position to
hold out for that perfect job right now, it's still true that if your job fits your natural
talents and interests, you're much more likely to be successful and "layoff-resistant." If
you'd like to better understand how to use your talents and find satisfying work, “Identify
Your Ideal Career” groups are starting in October at Career Source in Cambridge.
When: Two 5-session groups starting October 15 and October 20, Monday 9:30 a.m. –
12:00 noon or Wednesday 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 pm.
Where: Career Source, 186 Alewife Brook Parkway (Fresh Pond Mall), 3rd floor, in
Cambridge.
Background: This course combines the resources of Career Source/Cambridge, Success
Associates Career Services, and WIND/Boston. Career Source is a non-profit career
center and a member of the Massachusetts One-Stop Career Center System that offers
many free services for Massachusetts residents. Career Source provides career counseling
and other job search services to individuals of all levels of education and experience.
Success Associates is a career counseling service run by Larry Elle, a nationally certified
career and job transition counselor. WIND/Boston is a networking group for Boston-area
professionals.
