1. Ancient Civilizations Reflection
I studied Ancient China. I learned about
clothing, food and architecture. It was
difficult because I didn’t understand the
English. There was a lot of difficult words,
like “protect,” “civilization” and “legacy.” I
learned about 4 ancient China legacies:
paper, gun powder, print making and the
compass. With Mr. John I took notes from
books. I made a Power Point. Mr. Jarman
helped me put my notes on cards. My
brother and my mother’s translator helped
me to remember the English and to
understand it. Then we had the Artifact
Museum. People dug in the sand to find
ancient artifacts. When they found an
artifact, I could tell them about it using
English. I did a good job!!
