During summer vacation, Benedict visited his father's relatives in Denmark. He enjoyed exploring his grandmother's farm, which had horses, rabbits, and other animals. Benedict went hiking in the forest, horseback riding, and helped cook family dinners. Before returning home, Benedict spent a day in Copenhagen touring the busy streets and shopping before reluctantly leaving the fun activities of Denmark.

1. My Trip to Denmark
During the summer vacation, my mum and dad said wewere going to Denmark to
visit my dad’s relative. I was so happy that I could not sleep!
When we reached Denmark, it was about 2:00 a.m. We decided to get some sleep.
When I woke up, I said “Hi” to everyone. Then I went to my grandma’s farm. It was
huge. It has 2 horses, 2 rabbits, 1 cat, a soccer goal and a BBQ pit. The house was a 3
storey building.
The next day, we went to hike on a huge forest. We even saw a snake. When we
came back, we went for a rest. At about 4:30p.m, we went to wash the horses. They
were dirty, but very cute. Then I went horse riding and it was fun. The horses names
were Phillip and Macell. Then it was Dinner Time! I helped to cook. We cooked pasta
in tomato sauce. It was yummy. Then we went to watch TV. We watched a show
called ‘The Simpsons’. Then it was bedtime.
The next morning, when I got up, I used my computer and played computer games
for 1 hour. Then, we went to the local supermarket with my grandfather’s car. It
took us 5 minutes to get there. We bought snacks, milk, cereal and ingredients for
dinner. Then, we prepared sandwiches for lunch. We went to a park which was not
like an ordinary park because it had rocks that you can climb and a monkey bar and
other kinds of objects on which you can play. We ate the sandwich there. It was
delicious.
Then we went back to home. I watched TV until dinner time while my parent had a
chat with my dad’s relatives. We cooked spaghetti with meat sauce this time. It was
more delicious than the pasta. Then we went to feed the rabbits. I was excited. This
was the first time I had ever touched a rabbit. I gave them some cooked carrots. The
plate was empty in 5 minutes. Then I went back to sleep.
The next day, it was time to say goodbye to my dad’s relatives and we went to tour a
city called Copenhagen. There were a lot of people. We went shopping in the streets
of Copenhagen. Then, we went to go to the airport and went back to Singapore. I was
sad that I had to leave Denmark because it’s a fun area with lots of fun thing to do. I
will never forget this day.
