2. Introduction
Dr. Grace Walker brings more than three decades of experience in
occupational therapy to her position as director of Walker Physical
Therapy and Pain Center in California. A member of several physical
and occupational therapy organizations, Grace Walker, physical and
occupational therapist belongs to the American Occupational
Therapy Association (AOTA). The organization will hold its 2018
Annual Conference and Expo in April.
AOTA’s Annual Conference and Expo serves as the world’s largest
gathering of occupational therapy professionals and explores current
and future trends in occupational therapy. The event features a range
of authority speakers and more than 12,000 poster and educational
sessions designed to further professional development. Attendees
can also earn continuing education units and browse an exhibition
hall showcasing job opportunities and the latest products.

3. American Occupational Therapy
Association
In addition to conference activities, attendees have the opportunity
to participate in a variety of pre-conference institutes and seminars.
These consist of six-hour sessions that deliver comprehensive
continuing education at a lower cost than most other professional
development courses. Pre-conference attendees may choose from
three seminars and 32 institutes, which address a number of topics
and issues relevant to the occupational therapy profession.
The AOTA Annual Conference will take place at the Salt Palace
Convention Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, on April 19-22, 2018. To
