Motivate to study students

Once, as we were having a serious conversation about
the upcoming exams, one of my friends mentioned Sir
B.K.Gopalakrishna and recommended his house as an ideal
place to study. I ended up studying at his place for the better
part of my high school and college life. The main thing that
attracted me was the instant availabilityof books on every
topic and a person to talk to if you needed a dose of
motivation.The addedbonus was the Sunday session when
he showed Science popularisationvideos. I sincerely thank
him for keeping me on track when thought of giving up
because of fierce exam like KVPY which I ultimatelycracked.
He demonstrated the value of disciplineby setting an
example. He provided me with inspirationand the will to get
into IISER.
