3. 10 so that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known
through the church to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly

carried out in Christ Jesus our Lord,

temple, its buildings, its storehouses, its upper rooms, its inner rooms
and the room for the mercy seat; 12 and the plan of all that he had in
mind, for the courts of the house of the Lord, and for all the
surrounding rooms, for the storehouses of the house of God and for
the storehouses of the dedicated things; 13 also for the divisions of the
priests and the Levites and for all the work of the service of the house
of the Lord and for all the utensils of service in the house of the Lord;

preserve this forever in the intentions of the heart of Your people, and
direct their heart to You; 19 and give to my son Solomon a perfect
heart to keep Your commandments, Your testimonies and Your

made provision.”

12. 14 Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership
have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with
darkness? 15 Or what harmony has Christ with Belial, or what has a
believer in common with an unbeliever? 16 Or what agreement has
the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God;
just as God said, “I WILL DWELL IN THEM AND WALK AMONG
THEM; AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY
PEOPLE. 17 “Therefore, COME OUT FROM THEIR MIDST AND BE
SEPARATE,” says the Lord. “AND DO NOT TOUCH WHAT IS
UNCLEAN; And I will welcome you.

15. 19 So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow
citizens with the saints, and are of God’s household, 20 having been
built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus
Himself being the corner stone, 21 in whom the whole building, being
fitted together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord, 22 in whom
you also are being built together into a dwelling of God in the Spirit.
- Ephesians 2:19-22 NASB

16. You also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a
holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God
through Jesus Christ.

17. 15 Through Him then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise
to God, that is, the fruit of lips that give thanks to His name. 16 And do
not neglect doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is
pleased.

18. 11 And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as
evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the
saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; 13 until
we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God,
to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness
of Christ. 14 As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and
there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of
men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming; 15 but speaking the truth in love, we
are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, 16 from
whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint
supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the
growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.

19. 18 Let no one keep defrauding you of your prize by delighting in self-
abasement and the worship of the angels, taking his stand on visions
he has seen, inflated without cause by his fleshly mind, 19 and not
holding fast to the head, from whom the entire body, being supplied
and held together by the joints and ligaments, grows with a growth
which is from God.

20. But in case I am delayed, I write so that you will know how one ought

22. 24 And let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good
deeds, 25 not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of
some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the
day drawing near.

for someone to teach you the elementary principles of the oracles of

26. 25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and
gave Himself up for her, 26 so that He might sanctify her, having
cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, 27 that He might
present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle
or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless. 28 So
husbands ought also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He
who loves his own wife loves himself; 29 for no one ever hated his own
flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ also does the church,
30 because we are members of His body.
- Ephesians 5:25-33 NASB

27. 21 And although you were formerly alienated and hostile in mind,
engaged in evil deeds, 22 yet He has now reconciled you in His fleshly
body through death, in order to present you before Him holy and
blameless and beyond reproach— 23 if indeed you continue in the
faith firmly established and steadfast, and not moved away from the
hope of the gospel that you have heard, which was proclaimed in all
creation under heaven, and of which I, Paul, was made a minister.

28. 18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you
will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the
glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the surpassing
greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in
accordance with the working of the strength of His might
