The document discusses clothing and makeup suitable for a teenage audience. It describes choosing a typical going-out outfit for a teenage girl that is not too dressy, such as a fluorescent dress. This was to capture a teenager who likes to go out but not overdress. Once the outfit was selected, the hair, makeup and other aspects had to complement it. 2. Clothing
• I wanted to Capture a typical teenage girl and
therefore one outfit I wanted like a typical going out –
not too dressy outfit, in contrast to a florescent dress
which is bright and makes her stand out.
• After speaking to Mr Zaidi – Media teacher – he told
me to make sure I captured a teenager who likes to go
out but not over dress so that is what I aimed for.

4. After picking the outfit..
• Everything else had to go along with it too, including hair and makeup
design.
• I wanted to keep the hair simple so she still looked like the casual
‘give a damn’ teenager so I decided to keep her hair just down.
Mascara was also kept to a minimal.
• With makeup I wanted her to have a bold statement – this was her
bright red lipstick that is especially important when it comes to
making my digipack.
