NH Universities Launch Affordable Master's Program for Manchester Teachers

It's a collaboration among Granite State College, Plymouth State University and the University of
New Hampshire's Manchester campus.
Manchester School Superintendent Debra
Livingston said it will provide a much needed
pipeline of highly educated workers to lead the
city's schools.
"The new M.Ed. degree program has the potential
to change the landscape of education in
Manchester," she said.
University system officials said the program was
developed in response to the demand to have more
teachers qualified to teach at the college level and
will build on the strengths of each institution.

Three University System of New Hampshire schools
have developed a more affordable Master of
Education program for teachers in Manchester.
The new master's degree program in curriculum
and instruction is being offered exclusively to
Manchester educators and costs less than $10,000
