FIFA 15: 10 Under-Rated Teams
Which Need Upgrading
http://www.gamebasin.com/news/fifa-15-10-under-rated-teams-which-need-
upgrading
Each and every year the excitement surrounding the release of a new FIFA game with all of its
incredible new graphical flourishes and gameplay alterations – both revolutionary and subtle – is
matched by the intrigue in the new set of player ratings, systematically ranking the best (and worst)
players on the planet by the numbers. Often fans of the footballing franchise will eagerly examine
what ratings the guys over at EA Sports have given to all the top players long before they actually
sit down and have an actual match. Equally as intriguing as the player ratings are what ratings the
world’s greatest teams have been given. In many ways rating a team is even more difficult than
rating a player. Of course the individuals within a team are a huge factor but the fact of the matter
is that teams can sometimes play with synergy and outdo expectations or flatly disappoint. It is the
job of the guys at EA to ensure that each team is fairly rated based on what they have achieved in
the previous season and the signings they have been able to make over the summer break. Now
that FIFA 14 is nearing the end of its cycle and FIFA 15 is rapidly getting closer to its highly
anticipated release we can make some suggestions about which sparingly rated teams should be
given long overdue upgrades in the next game. Here are the 10 teams who should be upgraded:
10. Bayern Munich – 5 Stars
Att: 82 / Mid:83 / Def: 83 Their capitulation in the Champions League can make it easy to forget
that Bayern Munich still had an incredible 2013/14 season. Under the new management of Pep
Guardiola the Bavarian giants won the FIFA Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup, DFB‐Pokal and – most
importantly – the Bundesliga. They didn’t just win the Bundesliga though; Bayern became the first
club to clinch the league title in March with an incredible seven games to play. Two disappointing
performances against Real Madrid are not enough to undo the success of last season. This
dominance of the Bundesliga must result in Bayern Munich being rated as one of the best teams
in the game, second only to Real Madrid. Mario Mandžukić was a potent striker in his own right
but the addition of Robert Lewandowski from Borussia Dortmund is sure to give the Bavarians an
offensive boost, continuing the trend of Bayern draining their rivals of their major stars. The
performance of Germany in the World Cup should also have a positive impact on Bayern’s FIFA 15
rating. They may have lost Toni Kroos to Real Madrid but Bastian Schweinsteiger, Philipp
Lahm, Thomas Müller and Mario Götze all had exceptional tournaments.
9. Roma – 4.5 Stars
Att: 78 / Mid: 79 / Def: 77 The appointment of former Lille manager Rudi Garcia helped to
revive Roma from a disappointing few seasons. The 2013/13 season saw the capital’s side finish a
disappointing 6th place and losing to fierce rivals Lazio in the Coppa Italia final. This meant that –
for the second season in a row – the Italian side had missed out on European football. It seemed
like change was inevitable and under the management of Garcia the club have returned to their
winning ways. Last season they finished second to Italian giants Juventus and so will finally be
returning to the Champions League next season. With the current squad of players at Garcia’s
disposal, any team facing Roma in Europe or in Serie A next season should be wary. The Wolves
have talented players in virtually every area of the pitch, with seasoned veteran Francesco Totti
captaining a line‐up which includes the likes of Daniele De Rossi, Maicon and the highly touted
Kevin Strootman. The addition of Ashley Cole who was released by Chelsea will surely prove to be
extremely useful in their 2014/15 campaign and should definitely improve that 77 defensive rating.
8. Liverpool – 4.5 Stars
Att: 78 / Mid: 79 / Def: 79 Liverpool’s 2013/14 campaign may have ultimately ended in
disappointment but they still came within a hair’s breadth of upsetting the financial superpowers
of the league like Manchester City and Chelsea by winning that coveted title. Things may have
taken a nose‐dive in the final few games but Liverpool have most certainly proven themselves to
be a 5 star calibre team. Even with the loss of Luis Suárez, Liverpool are still worthy of more than a
78 offensive rating. The terrorizing trio of Suárez, Sterling and Sturridge may have been broken up
but the dynamic duo which remains will still be more than enough to give most defences problems.
The midfield with the aging yet still very talented Steven Gerrard supplying the more youthful likes
of Coutinho and Jordan Henderson also proved to be extremely effective last season. If you were
going to criticise one aspect of the Liverpool squad it would be their defence. The team operated
on a ‘score more than our opponent’ philosophy which meant that they conceded more goals than
the top five teams, despite coming second. The loss of Suárez may not be crippling but it means
they will have to revise this philosophy. The addition of £20‐million signing Dejan Lovren from
Southampton is most certainly a step in the right direction.
7. Netherlands – 4.5 Stars
Att: 85 / Mid: 78 / Def: 74 Prior to the World Cup the Netherlands – who would ultimately
finish a much‐deserved third – were rated as being less likely to win by bookmakers than England.
Even the fanatical Dutch fans had low expectations for their supposedly imbalanced squad. As is
reflected in the FIFA 14 rating, it was widely believed that the exceptional offensive might of the
Dutch couldn’t make up for their defence. If the World Cup has proven anything it’s to expect the
unexpected. They may have started the tournament with an attacking master class in their 5‐1
drubbing of Spain but throughout the tournament the pivotal aspect of the Dutch side was their
defence. Rather than the potent duo of Arjen Robben and Robin van Persie decimating opponents,
it was the defensive unit which allowed the Dutch to edge past their opponents in closely contested
games. The final three pivotal games of the tournament for the Dutch were all clean sheets. The
Netherlands proved that their defence is worth far more than a 74 rating – the boost which it
should receive in FIFA 15 will surely take them up to the lofty heights of being a 5‐star side.
6. Southampton – 4 Stars
Att: 78 / Mid: 73 / Def: 71 Southampton had a phenomenal last season which not only saw them
finish eighth but also had the Saints playing some of the most fluid football in the league. This
superb football has meant that Southampton have effectively become the watering hole of the
Premier League’s bigger clubs, losing Dejan Lovren, Adam Lallana and Rickie Lambert all to
Liverpool, Calum Chambers to Arsenal and Luke Shaw to Manchester United. These loses have
unquestionably damaged the quality of Southampton’s squad but they are still deserving of a
higher rating in FIFA 15. They may have lost some talented players but – as it stands – Southampton
still have plenty of quality, not least dangerous forward Jay Rodriguez. The loss of Shaw, Lovren and
Chambers will surely hurt their defensive efforts but they have retained enough quality at the back
to justify more than a 71 defensive rating. Now that the Saints seem to be settled with new
chairman Ralph Krueger, they will hopefully reinvest some of the money they’ve made in this active
transfer window into some new stars to strengthen the squad and ensure they can build on the
exceptional display of last season.
5. Crystal Palace – 3.5 Stars
Att: 70 / Mid: 70 / Def: 68 Crystal Palace were one of the biggest surprises of the 2013/14
season. The Eagles were evaluated as being the only team certain to go down by bookmakers. The
only people who believed the south east London club could remain in the top‐flight were the club’s
amazing fans who played no small part in the club’s astounding season. Not only did the Eagles –
under the masterful management of Tony Pulis – manage to avoid relegation but they did it with
points to spare, finishing in 11th place. The ratings in FIFA 15 should reflect Palace’s status as an
established Premier League club – no longer the league’s whipping boys. The 3.5 star rating
currently puts Palace as the equals of several Championship clubs which quite clearly is not the
case. In the latter half of the season the club built up a reputation as a team notoriously hard to
take points from, particularly when playing at home. The fact that Palace’s defence has been listed
as their weakest area is rather surprising. The likes of Joel Ward, Dean Moxey and Damien Delaney
all played valiantly in defence while gritty defensive midfielders Mile Jedinak and Kagisho Dikgacoi
put fear into the hearts of opposition forwards. The defending qualities of Crystal Palace proved to
be their strongest quality (despite the FIFA 14 rating) while they struggled more on the offensive
end. The addition of the explosive Fraizer Campbell from Cardiff City is sure to help the Eagles’ goal
scoring woes.
4. Everton – 4.5 Stars
Att: 76 / Mid: 76 / Def: 77 Everton fans were dismayed when the announcement was made that
David Moyes would be ending his 11 year tenure at the club for the vacant United job. The Toffees
ultimately had the last laugh as Roberto Martínez guided the club to a fifth place finish ahead of
Manchester United. Despite not having made any major signings, Martínez had the squad firing on
all cylinders by utilising the loan market. Romelu Lukaku (on loan from Chelsea) finished as
Everton’s top scorer with 16 goals in all competitions while Gareth Barry (on loan from Manchester
City) provided some essential experience in midfield. Everton have already signed Barry on a
permanent basis and Martínez has hinted that a deal for Lukaku is in the pipeline. Several new
promising young talents emerged last season who should give Everton’s FIFA 15 rating a boost.
Players like Ross Barkley, Josh Stones and James McCarthy (who was signed from Wigan) all
enriched Martínez’ squad greatly. They may have narrowly missed out on Champions League
football but the exceptional 2013/14 season at Goodison Park should definitely mean that Everton
become higher rated in EA Sports’ popular game.
3. Chile – 4 Star
Att: 78 / Mid: 76 / Def: 72 An exit in the round of 16 by no means does Chile’s excellent World Cup
campaign justice. Not only did they come close to knocking the hosts out of the competition in the
first knockout stage but they played mesmerising, offence‐orientated football which rightly made
them a fan favourite. Not only did they unpick a tough Australian side but they comfortably eased
their way past former champions Spain and in so doing knocked them out of the competition. The
gritty Vidal was a pillar in midfield, using his accurate passes to supply the likes of Alexis Sanchez,
Pinilla and Isla. The Chilean side always looked dangerous and many were sad to see them exit the
competition at a relatively early stage. At times their offensive style left them open at the back but
Claudio Bravo was almost always on hand to protect the goal. Indeed it was thanks to the heroics
of the Chilean keeper that he was signed by Barcelona on a four‐year deal, hand‐picked to be Victor
Valdes’ successor. Chile’s rating as a just‐above‐average international team on FIFA 14 is by no
means accurate. They were inches away from beating Brazil and who knows how they would have
fared against Colombia and Germany. In FIFA 15 the South American team should be honoured
with a much higher rating.
2. Chelsea – 5 Stars
Att: 83 / Mid: 81 / Def: 82 Chelsea’s first season in the second reign of the José Mourinho will be
remembered as a disappointing one. When it was announced that the flamboyant manager would
be returning to Stamford Bridge people weren’t discussing whether or not Chelsea would be
adding to their already impressive trophy cabinet but rather how many pieces of silverware they
would win – ultimately they would win nothing. Based on this forgettable preceding season, why
then should Chelsea receive a higher rating in FIFA 15? The answer is that, in typical Roman
Abramovich style, Chelsea have been flashing the cash and have added some exciting players to
their already stacked squad. In recent seasons the Blues had suffered from a lack of offensive
potency which meant that most of their goals came from midfield. However, with the signing of
£32‐million goal scoring machine Diego Costa, Chelsea are bound to look more venomous when
attacking. Additionally we recently learnt that club legend Didier Drogba would be returning to
Stamford Bridge as a free transfer. Though now 36‐years‐old, Didier has proven that he can still
score goals despite the loss of much of his pace. The signing of Cesc Fabregas on a five year contract
means that they will also have an audaciously talented playmaker in midfield who will be able to
tap into the pace of Hazard and Willian on the wings, as well as linking up with newly signed
fullback Filipe Luis. Chelsea will truly take some stopping next season; FIFA 15 needs to reflect that
fact.
1. Real Madrid – 5 Star
Att: 85/ Mid: 85 / Def: 82 Real Madrid’s squad of last season already boasted the best attacking
force on the planet. Seeing past the high‐priced duo of Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo, Los
Blancos have a ridiculous roster of talented goal scorers – the likes of Karim Benzema, Isco, Ángel
di María and Álvaro Morata have all proven themselves capable of beating an opponent’s keeper.
An 85 offensive rating may already be high but in typical fashion Real Madrid have been flashing
inordinate amounts of cash to bring world class talent to the Bernabéu. After just three weeks and
five amazing performances the Spanish superpower had seen enough to pay €80‐million for
Colombian star James Rodríguez. The 23‐year‐old’s rise to become the latest status symbol in world
football may have been quick but he will most certainly add to Real Madrid’s attacking squad.
Similarly Toni Kroos is bound to score a plethora of goals in the white shirt of the Spanish side –
the €25‐million German signing is known for his destructive long shot. It’s fair to say that with these
additions Real Madrid arguably have the most potent offense of any squad in the history of the
game. Making these claims really isn’t resorting to hyperbole as so many of the squad are now
capable of scoring double‐figure goals across a season that it will take a granite defence to resist
Real Madrid.

Fifa 15 10 under rated teams which need upgrading - www.gamebasin.com

  • 1. FIFA 15: 10 Under-Rated Teams Which Need Upgrading http://www.gamebasin.com/news/fifa-15-10-under-rated-teams-which-need- upgrading Each and every year the excitement surrounding the release of a new FIFA game with all of its incredible new graphical flourishes and gameplay alterations – both revolutionary and subtle – is matched by the intrigue in the new set of player ratings, systematically ranking the best (and worst) players on the planet by the numbers. Often fans of the footballing franchise will eagerly examine what ratings the guys over at EA Sports have given to all the top players long before they actually sit down and have an actual match. Equally as intriguing as the player ratings are what ratings the world’s greatest teams have been given. In many ways rating a team is even more difficult than rating a player. Of course the individuals within a team are a huge factor but the fact of the matter is that teams can sometimes play with synergy and outdo expectations or flatly disappoint. It is the job of the guys at EA to ensure that each team is fairly rated based on what they have achieved in the previous season and the signings they have been able to make over the summer break. Now that FIFA 14 is nearing the end of its cycle and FIFA 15 is rapidly getting closer to its highly anticipated release we can make some suggestions about which sparingly rated teams should be given long overdue upgrades in the next game. Here are the 10 teams who should be upgraded: 10. Bayern Munich – 5 Stars
  • 2. Att: 82 / Mid:83 / Def: 83 Their capitulation in the Champions League can make it easy to forget that Bayern Munich still had an incredible 2013/14 season. Under the new management of Pep Guardiola the Bavarian giants won the FIFA Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup, DFB‐Pokal and – most importantly – the Bundesliga. They didn’t just win the Bundesliga though; Bayern became the first club to clinch the league title in March with an incredible seven games to play. Two disappointing performances against Real Madrid are not enough to undo the success of last season. This dominance of the Bundesliga must result in Bayern Munich being rated as one of the best teams in the game, second only to Real Madrid. Mario Mandžukić was a potent striker in his own right but the addition of Robert Lewandowski from Borussia Dortmund is sure to give the Bavarians an offensive boost, continuing the trend of Bayern draining their rivals of their major stars. The performance of Germany in the World Cup should also have a positive impact on Bayern’s FIFA 15 rating. They may have lost Toni Kroos to Real Madrid but Bastian Schweinsteiger, Philipp Lahm, Thomas Müller and Mario Götze all had exceptional tournaments. 9. Roma – 4.5 Stars
  • 3. Att: 78 / Mid: 79 / Def: 77 The appointment of former Lille manager Rudi Garcia helped to revive Roma from a disappointing few seasons. The 2013/13 season saw the capital’s side finish a disappointing 6th place and losing to fierce rivals Lazio in the Coppa Italia final. This meant that – for the second season in a row – the Italian side had missed out on European football. It seemed like change was inevitable and under the management of Garcia the club have returned to their winning ways. Last season they finished second to Italian giants Juventus and so will finally be returning to the Champions League next season. With the current squad of players at Garcia’s disposal, any team facing Roma in Europe or in Serie A next season should be wary. The Wolves have talented players in virtually every area of the pitch, with seasoned veteran Francesco Totti captaining a line‐up which includes the likes of Daniele De Rossi, Maicon and the highly touted Kevin Strootman. The addition of Ashley Cole who was released by Chelsea will surely prove to be extremely useful in their 2014/15 campaign and should definitely improve that 77 defensive rating. 8. Liverpool – 4.5 Stars
  • 4. Att: 78 / Mid: 79 / Def: 79 Liverpool’s 2013/14 campaign may have ultimately ended in disappointment but they still came within a hair’s breadth of upsetting the financial superpowers of the league like Manchester City and Chelsea by winning that coveted title. Things may have taken a nose‐dive in the final few games but Liverpool have most certainly proven themselves to be a 5 star calibre team. Even with the loss of Luis Suárez, Liverpool are still worthy of more than a 78 offensive rating. The terrorizing trio of Suárez, Sterling and Sturridge may have been broken up but the dynamic duo which remains will still be more than enough to give most defences problems. The midfield with the aging yet still very talented Steven Gerrard supplying the more youthful likes of Coutinho and Jordan Henderson also proved to be extremely effective last season. If you were going to criticise one aspect of the Liverpool squad it would be their defence. The team operated on a ‘score more than our opponent’ philosophy which meant that they conceded more goals than the top five teams, despite coming second. The loss of Suárez may not be crippling but it means they will have to revise this philosophy. The addition of £20‐million signing Dejan Lovren from Southampton is most certainly a step in the right direction. 7. Netherlands – 4.5 Stars
  • 5. Att: 85 / Mid: 78 / Def: 74 Prior to the World Cup the Netherlands – who would ultimately finish a much‐deserved third – were rated as being less likely to win by bookmakers than England. Even the fanatical Dutch fans had low expectations for their supposedly imbalanced squad. As is reflected in the FIFA 14 rating, it was widely believed that the exceptional offensive might of the Dutch couldn’t make up for their defence. If the World Cup has proven anything it’s to expect the unexpected. They may have started the tournament with an attacking master class in their 5‐1 drubbing of Spain but throughout the tournament the pivotal aspect of the Dutch side was their defence. Rather than the potent duo of Arjen Robben and Robin van Persie decimating opponents, it was the defensive unit which allowed the Dutch to edge past their opponents in closely contested games. The final three pivotal games of the tournament for the Dutch were all clean sheets. The Netherlands proved that their defence is worth far more than a 74 rating – the boost which it should receive in FIFA 15 will surely take them up to the lofty heights of being a 5‐star side. 6. Southampton – 4 Stars
  • 6. Att: 78 / Mid: 73 / Def: 71 Southampton had a phenomenal last season which not only saw them finish eighth but also had the Saints playing some of the most fluid football in the league. This superb football has meant that Southampton have effectively become the watering hole of the Premier League’s bigger clubs, losing Dejan Lovren, Adam Lallana and Rickie Lambert all to Liverpool, Calum Chambers to Arsenal and Luke Shaw to Manchester United. These loses have unquestionably damaged the quality of Southampton’s squad but they are still deserving of a higher rating in FIFA 15. They may have lost some talented players but – as it stands – Southampton still have plenty of quality, not least dangerous forward Jay Rodriguez. The loss of Shaw, Lovren and Chambers will surely hurt their defensive efforts but they have retained enough quality at the back to justify more than a 71 defensive rating. Now that the Saints seem to be settled with new chairman Ralph Krueger, they will hopefully reinvest some of the money they’ve made in this active transfer window into some new stars to strengthen the squad and ensure they can build on the exceptional display of last season. 5. Crystal Palace – 3.5 Stars
  • 7. Att: 70 / Mid: 70 / Def: 68 Crystal Palace were one of the biggest surprises of the 2013/14 season. The Eagles were evaluated as being the only team certain to go down by bookmakers. The only people who believed the south east London club could remain in the top‐flight were the club’s amazing fans who played no small part in the club’s astounding season. Not only did the Eagles – under the masterful management of Tony Pulis – manage to avoid relegation but they did it with points to spare, finishing in 11th place. The ratings in FIFA 15 should reflect Palace’s status as an established Premier League club – no longer the league’s whipping boys. The 3.5 star rating currently puts Palace as the equals of several Championship clubs which quite clearly is not the case. In the latter half of the season the club built up a reputation as a team notoriously hard to take points from, particularly when playing at home. The fact that Palace’s defence has been listed as their weakest area is rather surprising. The likes of Joel Ward, Dean Moxey and Damien Delaney all played valiantly in defence while gritty defensive midfielders Mile Jedinak and Kagisho Dikgacoi put fear into the hearts of opposition forwards. The defending qualities of Crystal Palace proved to be their strongest quality (despite the FIFA 14 rating) while they struggled more on the offensive end. The addition of the explosive Fraizer Campbell from Cardiff City is sure to help the Eagles’ goal scoring woes. 4. Everton – 4.5 Stars
  • 8. Att: 76 / Mid: 76 / Def: 77 Everton fans were dismayed when the announcement was made that David Moyes would be ending his 11 year tenure at the club for the vacant United job. The Toffees ultimately had the last laugh as Roberto Martínez guided the club to a fifth place finish ahead of Manchester United. Despite not having made any major signings, Martínez had the squad firing on all cylinders by utilising the loan market. Romelu Lukaku (on loan from Chelsea) finished as Everton’s top scorer with 16 goals in all competitions while Gareth Barry (on loan from Manchester City) provided some essential experience in midfield. Everton have already signed Barry on a permanent basis and Martínez has hinted that a deal for Lukaku is in the pipeline. Several new promising young talents emerged last season who should give Everton’s FIFA 15 rating a boost. Players like Ross Barkley, Josh Stones and James McCarthy (who was signed from Wigan) all enriched Martínez’ squad greatly. They may have narrowly missed out on Champions League football but the exceptional 2013/14 season at Goodison Park should definitely mean that Everton become higher rated in EA Sports’ popular game. 3. Chile – 4 Star
  • 9. Att: 78 / Mid: 76 / Def: 72 An exit in the round of 16 by no means does Chile’s excellent World Cup campaign justice. Not only did they come close to knocking the hosts out of the competition in the first knockout stage but they played mesmerising, offence‐orientated football which rightly made them a fan favourite. Not only did they unpick a tough Australian side but they comfortably eased their way past former champions Spain and in so doing knocked them out of the competition. The gritty Vidal was a pillar in midfield, using his accurate passes to supply the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Pinilla and Isla. The Chilean side always looked dangerous and many were sad to see them exit the competition at a relatively early stage. At times their offensive style left them open at the back but Claudio Bravo was almost always on hand to protect the goal. Indeed it was thanks to the heroics of the Chilean keeper that he was signed by Barcelona on a four‐year deal, hand‐picked to be Victor Valdes’ successor. Chile’s rating as a just‐above‐average international team on FIFA 14 is by no means accurate. They were inches away from beating Brazil and who knows how they would have fared against Colombia and Germany. In FIFA 15 the South American team should be honoured with a much higher rating. 2. Chelsea – 5 Stars
  • 10. Att: 83 / Mid: 81 / Def: 82 Chelsea’s first season in the second reign of the José Mourinho will be remembered as a disappointing one. When it was announced that the flamboyant manager would be returning to Stamford Bridge people weren’t discussing whether or not Chelsea would be adding to their already impressive trophy cabinet but rather how many pieces of silverware they would win – ultimately they would win nothing. Based on this forgettable preceding season, why then should Chelsea receive a higher rating in FIFA 15? The answer is that, in typical Roman Abramovich style, Chelsea have been flashing the cash and have added some exciting players to their already stacked squad. In recent seasons the Blues had suffered from a lack of offensive potency which meant that most of their goals came from midfield. However, with the signing of £32‐million goal scoring machine Diego Costa, Chelsea are bound to look more venomous when attacking. Additionally we recently learnt that club legend Didier Drogba would be returning to Stamford Bridge as a free transfer. Though now 36‐years‐old, Didier has proven that he can still score goals despite the loss of much of his pace. The signing of Cesc Fabregas on a five year contract means that they will also have an audaciously talented playmaker in midfield who will be able to tap into the pace of Hazard and Willian on the wings, as well as linking up with newly signed fullback Filipe Luis. Chelsea will truly take some stopping next season; FIFA 15 needs to reflect that fact. 1. Real Madrid – 5 Star
  • 11. Att: 85/ Mid: 85 / Def: 82 Real Madrid’s squad of last season already boasted the best attacking force on the planet. Seeing past the high‐priced duo of Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo, Los Blancos have a ridiculous roster of talented goal scorers – the likes of Karim Benzema, Isco, Ángel di María and Álvaro Morata have all proven themselves capable of beating an opponent’s keeper. An 85 offensive rating may already be high but in typical fashion Real Madrid have been flashing inordinate amounts of cash to bring world class talent to the Bernabéu. After just three weeks and five amazing performances the Spanish superpower had seen enough to pay €80‐million for Colombian star James Rodríguez. The 23‐year‐old’s rise to become the latest status symbol in world football may have been quick but he will most certainly add to Real Madrid’s attacking squad. Similarly Toni Kroos is bound to score a plethora of goals in the white shirt of the Spanish side – the €25‐million German signing is known for his destructive long shot. It’s fair to say that with these additions Real Madrid arguably have the most potent offense of any squad in the history of the game. Making these claims really isn’t resorting to hyperbole as so many of the squad are now capable of scoring double‐figure goals across a season that it will take a granite defence to resist Real Madrid.
