2. About EDGE EDGE is a refundable tax credit program that REWARDS companies creating jobs and contributing to the growth of Indiana’s economy Credits are calculated as a PERCENTAGE of payroll tax withholding net new Indiana jobs Edge credits may be awarded for up to10 years

3. Eligibility For Job Creation The project will create NEWjobs that were not previously performed in Indiana Project’s are economically sound and will BENEFITthe people of Indiana A person MAY NOT receive credit for any jobs where they would need to relocate from their original site to a new site in Indiana

4. Eligibility for Job Retention The project will RETAINexisting jobs by the applicant in Indiana ENGAGEDin research and development, manufacturing or business services They EMPLOY at least 35 employees in Indiana Use of credits: Investments in facility IMPROVEMENTS, UPGRADES,REPAIRSandRETROFITS of equipment and machinery

5. Benefit of Receiving a Tax Credit The tax credit will have an overall POSITIVE fiscal impact Local incentives include, but are not limited to, CASH GRANTS, TAX ABATEMENTS, INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS, INVESTMENTS in facility rehabilitation, construction and training

Calculations of Credits EDGE may be awarded for up to 100 PERCENT of projected withholdings attributable to the company’s Indiana project and may also be awarded for up to 10 YEARS The company must commit to maintaining operations in Indiana for at least 2 years BEYOND the term of the company’s EDGE award
