LATAS PROJECT – CONTINUATION OF
THE WORK (BIRDS)
• The project that I had the
opportunity being involved into
consisted in the recycling of the
can tins and putting them into
artistic forms.
• You would be surprised how
much trash (even in a small city
like the one I was living in during
a pandemic) can be easily
recycled in magnificent art!
VISITING A PARTNER ORGANIZATION –
CRIAMAR ASSOCIACAO DE SOLIDARIEDA DE SOCIAL PARA O
DESENVOLVIMENTO E APOIO A CRIANCAS E JOVENS
• Once a month each volunteer
gets to know the partner
organization (their main goal
is to support kids with less
opportunities in their lives).
• Because of the covid, we
usually help with decorating
the outdoor or watering the
gardens.
PREPARING FOR FUTURE PROJECTS!
• And also I helped with some
preparation for future SECRET
projects (also as you can
imagine related to increase
awareness about recycling)…
so on the right you can see
just my dedication to work!
LUNCHES WITH THE HOSTS
• I think what I will mostly
remember from this
experience… is the pure
heart of our hosts.
• And aye, combined with
delicious food! They were
truly spoiling us!
…IN RETURN POLISH DINNER
• In return we've prepared a
polish dinner where we
could spoil a bit our hosts
back ;) ….
• But they spoiled us even
more with some delicious
home-made poncha! (the
orange drink on the table,
typical madeiran drink)
FREE TIME… VISITING THE BEAUTIFUL
MADEIRA!
… with the wonderful
volunteers I've met in the
house 
Best time of my life so far,
totally recommend it to
anyone!
