2. Frisco high school librarian, Mrs. York helps classes with finding books, check in and
out, computers, and chrome books. Of these many tasks, Mrs. York says, “My Favorite
part of working here is being able to interact with students.”
3. Frisco High librarian of 8 years, Mrs. Gonzalez assists students daily in the library. Mrs.
Gonzales helps students print out documents, find books, and many other tasks. Mrs.
Gonzales says, “The best part of being a librarian is there is always something new to
do.”
4. Frisco High goes through many boxes of paper throughout the year. The library is a
resource area for students to print homework, essays, and other documents. Frisco
High librarian, Mrs. York says, “We go through around half a box in about 1 or 2
weeks.”
5. Library aid, Lindsey Ayres helps librarians Mrs. york and Mrs. Gonzalez with everyday
library tasks. Lindsey often shelves books, assists classes and students, and has time to
work on homework. “My favorite part about being a library aid is being able to have
extra time to work on homework,” says Lindsey.
6. Library aids assigned a period of their day to assist Librarians. Library aid, Lindsey
Ayres says, “We shelve books, help them with simple tasks, and often have time for
homework.”

checking out books and students
using computers. Mrs. York helps
students find specific books and
recommends to others. York says,
“Usually english classes come in to
check out books more than any other
class.”
