What is a culture? A subculture? Give an example of each. Solution Culture is the shared beliefs, characteristics and knowledge of a group of people based on ideological beliefs, religion, social status, education, age, ethnicity etc. Examples of culture are Western culture, Eastern culture, African-American culture, Asian culture, middle class culture. Subculture is a subset of culture and share a distinct identity. Examples of sub culture are: pop culture, bikers, hippies..

Solution Culture is the shared beliefs, characteristics and knowledge of a group of people based on ideological beliefs, religion, social status, education, age, ethnicity etc. Examples of culture are Western culture, Eastern culture, African-American culture, Asian culture, middle class culture. Subculture is a subset of culture and share a distinct identity. Examples of sub culture are: pop culture, bikers, hippies.
