structed with aluminumalloys. use only the special
"Dacro" type nuts and bolts recommended
by Honda.
NOTE:
a Dacrofinishcan be identitiedby gray plating.
a Some Dacrotinish bolts have a greencoating on
the th.eadsectionof the bolt for easielapplica-
tion.Thistype ot boltis calleda "Torqu6r" bolt,
a Useof othertypes ot nuts and boltsmay cause
electrolvsis
and corrosion,which in turn could
caus€the bolt to loosen.
l . When replacingnuts and bolts, use only the same
type.
Tightenthe nuts and bolts with I torqua wrench to
ths specifications
providedin this manual.
Cleanall thread ridges with a non wire type bristle
brush. Foroignmatter in the threadsmay causethe
bolt to loosen.
