Indian Culture-History-Festivals-Temples

 India is the birthplace of Hinduism. Indian religions, also known as dharmic
religions are a major form of world religions along with Abrahamic one. Today,
Hinduism is the world's third largest religions, with over 2 billion follower’s
altogether, and possibly as many as 2.5 or 2.6 billion followers.

India is mainly famous for Temples, Festivals, Sculpture and religions. India is one
of the most religiously diverse nations in the world, with some of the most deeply
religious societies and cultures. Culture still plays a central and definitive role in
the life of many of its people.

A temple is a place where we can find unfathomable solace and peace. Indian
country abounds in holy places and temples. It is not easy to visit all the temples in
Bharat but we can visit with help of Manadhi. It gives prominent temples details
within our reach. The oldest temples, built of brick and wood, no longer exist.
Stone later became the preferred material. Temples marked the transition of the
Vedic religion to Hinduism.

Popular religious festivals include the Hindu festivals of Navratri, Diwali, Ganesh
Chaturthi, Durga puja, Holi, Ugadi, Rakshabandhan, and Dussehra. Several harvest
festivals such as Sankranthi, Indian food is as diverse as India. Indian cuisines use
numerous ingredients, deploy a wide range of food preparation styles, cooking
techniques and culinary presentation.

The first Indian Sculpture date back to the Indus Valley civilization, where stone
and bronze carvings have been discovered.The principal sculptural techniques used
in India have undergone little changes throughout the ages. Carving in India has
done for centuries with using varied materials such as stone or rock, wood, bronze
metal, bone, and marbal.

 Indian culture, Temples and Indian Festivals, have had a profound impact across
the world. The culture of India refers to the Dharma, beliefs, customs, traditions,
languages, ceremonies, arts, values and the way of life of India and its
