Analytical Structure for Fuzzy Pi and Pd Controllers
Description:
It is well known that PI & PD controllers are very popular and are used in most of
industries such as in electric drives, robotics, chemical and manufacturing industries. This
is because of the fact that PI & PD controllers have simple structure, contains less
components and has simple tuneable control gains. However, these conventional PI & PD
controllers are usually not effective if the processes are nonlinear, complex and
mathematical models are not exact.
In this project, we derive the analytical structures for fuzzy PI+PD controllers by
using minimum triangular norm, different combinations of triangular co-norms (maximum,
drastic sum), different inference methods ( such as Mamdani minimum, Larsen product,
drastic product) and center-of-sum de-fuzzification method.
