Mr Billy
Good day,i have not delivered to day as i just pushed as much as i can from the NCA to finalize the Job ,been shuttling between both
places today like a mad man, its just so complicated and frustrating , we are onto something good and big and the processes have
taken time
The reprieve has gone to Abex Group as well
and no one else as yet
i feel so down by the delays and i can assure you we will recover the losses and work as a team

Dear Billy,
Sorry been away all day in meetings at the NCA,
meeting was very positive,we are sending them a letter and they will write on our behalf to VF giving us a reprieve of 3cents on the
tax and the interconnect transit rate reversed to the status quo of 3 cents, we will get a discount to wean the grey market traffic and
to promote local content
once we get the authorisation and we start commercial production ,i would want you to come to Ghana to close the partnership,
we are in key position and its been approved by the NCA, they are putting this together
we will start testing on the outbound with you asap, been just trying to get us going on with the inbound. other
networks
2. currently we are the only company that is being considered for the discount
Every company that applies should have been in business for a year with a licensed telco and have infrastructure
equipment ,and be in good standing with the Telco

I couldn’t see your reply till now it serious topic to understand where we will be located after
this change ! and also we don’t have to wait NCA for outbound traffic from Vodafone to start to
terminate or using lycatel A_Z services.
Please we have to move forward anyhow.
Waiting your reply urgent please give your time for us as well.
Thanks.

Hi David;
We know that it will bring to us opportunities but we want to clear to understanding of ASAP
and soon,
As per the our discussion tomorrow you will have to official approval from NCA to able to
request from VF to not to charge government tax % which is 8.5c so again as per your
confirmation as soon as VF have this official confirmation we will be able to run the business as
per our conditions.
Please clarify one thing for us, this opportunity will come just to you and there is no other local
company will be in our competitions ( ABEX( Francis )MTN , TELSOL ( Samuel , Francis
3. company will be in our competitions ( ABEX( Francis )MTN , TELSOL ( Samuel , Francis
)VF) we want to know that for our business strategy If they will have the same rate discount so
its mean we don’t have any opportunity front of MTN interconnected ABEX since they will
have the same rate discount for VF traffic and other networks.
I’m waiting your urgent reply on this matter to move forward with our strategic plan.
Thanks

termination
Dear Billy
As discussed we are faced with Challenges with Vodafone, as they insist to charge 17.6 cents for the other networks.
we need to confirm to VF we will accept the rate as they intend to get out of the transit business, international, hence they have
shut the route to all other networks from Vodafone switch.
this issue has been challenging and i will offer you a rate to defray all your loss ..
we have worked on the proposal and we are near approval at the regulator as i met with the entire board today , the minister and
we should get this done asap
please i apologise for the delays but its a win win situation.
God Bless
David

Dear Sir,
Thank you so much for calling me yesterday, and hope we could discuss further next week

4. I have always respected your judgement! I believe we could make headway with the proposal and the Reprieve should be able to
save the GoG no less than $10m annually. The Telecom Operators also get to save $20m annually. This is driven by the reduced
activities of illegal termination as a result of the local operators competitive resolve!
I have attached the modified proposal reflecting these findings.
Live right! Live well! and stay blessed

-Dear Josh,
Thanks for meeting with me earlier on today. I reckon it was a very useful and constructive
discussion.
Kindly review the attachment herein. It is a brief overview, complete with illustrations, detailing how I
propose we develop the role of local content in the deployment of inter-connect services in Ghana.
I shall be putting together a cover letter properly explaining all the ideas and concepts in due course.
The local companies that I know of are ABEX Group for,MTN and TIGO.
Vodafone has 3 local companies
namely Broadspectrum , Sammi Nkansah and Kwami Asiama Company
will find out the real company details and pass them on, but as discussed if you write to the
operators they will confirm the companies that are locally based
