1. Finance, Accounting & Controlling
The Finance, Accounting & Controlling business function is an integral part of all the financial,
cost accounting, reporting and controlling activities. Controlling works in cooperation with diverse
corporate units to support complex decision-making processes from product development to
sales. All projects and programmes are controlled and monitored specifically with regards to
costs, risks and potential opportunities.
In the Accounting departments you will be given the opportunity to gain experience in financial
accounting as well as commercial controlling processes. Financial Accounting activities cover
preparation of the company's financial reports, legal requirements (balance sheet, income
statement), statutory and tax reporting, purchase and sales ledger, cash flow planning and
dealing with inter-company transactions in order to prepare the financial reports for group
consolidation. Management Accounting activities consist of budgetary planning and control,
ensuring the correct recording, allocation and analysis of the costs resulting in the preparation of
periodical management reports.

The Financial Controlling departments drive the planning, reporting and business controlling
processes. They analyze quantitative and qualitative data on aggregated level to support
discussions and decision making at Management level. On top of that they provide reports and
presentations on performance against budgets/targets highlighting discrepancies and coordinate
mitigation actions if needed.
Our Programme and Project Controlling departments provide quantitative and qualitative data
to support discussions and decision making at Program Management level. They check project
performance against budgets/targets highlighting discrepancies and proposing mitigation actions
if needed. It is also their role to anticipate deviations and initiate corrective measures. They
challenge and support business partners for all directorates in terms of financial and operational
performance improvement.
Our Financial Expertise teams contribute to the financial business management with in-depth
knowledge on subject matters or supporting tools/processes, capable of proactively managing
financial business. They provide specific finance expertise (centre of competence) to Group units.
Entry Requirements: You will need to have a Bachelors / Masters degree or equivalent
qualification in one of the following areas; Economics, Business Studies, Finance, Accountancy,
Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Management Science or in a similar relevant
field of study. Ideally this should be coupled with some work experience gained in a Finance
and/or Controlling Department.
Candidates should also be computer literate (MS Office, plus any other relevant applications).
