1.2                 SBS capacity
Three types of BSC hardware are supported in BR7.0:
  the traditional BSC,
  the high capacity BSC step 1, and
  the high capacity BSC step 2.

They differ in the type of processor cards used for the handling of the signaling
protocols, in their capacity for GPRS traffic and in the number of external links
supported. The following table summarizes relevant capacity values supported by
the different BSC versions:
