Editor's Notes
Have you ever found endless opportunity?
I have.
My name is Trevor Elliott im from Maryville,TN.
I’m a music production major at Full Sail University.
Im a singer songwriter and I play many different instruments.
Passionate. Positive. Lyrical. Musician. This is my brand mantra.
As a kid I was fascinated with music.
That fascination grew into my entire life.
Life is a long road is full of hard times but music keeps getting me through the worst of it.
In my early teens I started playing in bands and doing local shows.
I even did the booking for a local venue.
I started learning about music production as well even before I went to school for it it was fascinating.
I started writing music and doing it all myself by the age of fifteen.
I found exactly where I wanted to go in the music industry.
I spent the next four years writing songs and developing a song-writing style.
I wrote three albums and even recorded and released one.
I felt like there was more to learn than just guitar…
I learned the Ukulele, piano, bass, and mandolin as well.
I swore I would never go to college…. I hated School.
And then I found Full Sail…. It changed my mind.
I was eager to learn more and more and more about music. It became fascinating on a different level than just playing. I actually enjoyed the book work.
I took music theory to an advanced level. I wanted to become knowledgable about music more so than most.
I became proficient in software like Pro Tools and Logic Pro. Two of the industries leading softwares.
I went to school to stand out from most musicians. I wanted more knowledge than the average.
I still play gigs all over East TN to promote my singer/songwriter project.
I constantly write new music to keep my fan based entertained and compete with other songwriters.
Writing and playing are two steps I continue to take towards my success. Playing is the best exposure you can get as a musician.
One day I hope to have thousands of fans.
I want thousands of people to hear my music and undserstand how personable it is.
I want fans to listen to my words and understand the stories I tell with them.
I want to do all of my production by myself. I don’t want to hire a studio or contract out a producer.
With the steps im taking and the hard work I put in a can achieve my goals.
My determination and effort has always got me further than being lazy it can determine wether “you make it or break it”.
I have always put everything I have into being what I want.
