to be configured with
different elements
There are three types of elements in your Team Site: -1- Document Libraries and Picture
Libraries, that include Shared Documents, Sites Assets and Site Pages. -2- Lists, that includes
Announcements, Calendar, Links and Tasks. -3- Discussion Boards, that includes Team
Discussions.
Let’s explore a couple of these elements. They are so easy to use……you’ll see.
2. SHARED DOCUMENTS 1/3
Click on Shared Documents and then on +Add document
Sharing documents is one of the most basics things you can do with your Team Site. It’s not convenient to
use email to send documents to your coworkers: you loose control when you hit send. Uploading it in your
Team Site makes more sense.
4. SHARED DOCUMENTS 3/3

And there is your document. You can give different level of access to it to other
members of your team.
5. TEAM DISCUSSION 1/2
Click on Team Discussions, then on Add new discussion
Then type the subject that you want to put up to consideration of your teammates. They will all be able to
comment and collaborate
6. TEAM DISCUSSION 2/2
There is your Team Discussion! Your teammates will be able to post their thoughts in the
Team Site!
