Editor's Notes

  1. We have an additional commitment of $50,000 since our call on 2.22. We are still $295,000 short of our goal to meet $10,0000. We still have a more than $7 million in outstanding requests. The aim is to close on as many as possible before the end of the fiscal year, which is June 30, 2010. We will need to schedule more solicitations, and build up that pipeline and ongoing active requests.
  2. Another way to look at where we are, More than half of the raised to date has come from our trustees Corporate gifts account for most of the rest, and much of that is thanks to the help of trustees as well. Individual giving needs to be ramped up, as does giving from foundations.
  3. A reminder of how we’ve set up the timeline goals. Our first benchmark was $4 million in June of 2010. Our next benchmark is June 2011 when the goal is $12 million, just under half the campaign goal. We have to stay on track.
