I reviewed all of the information that I’ve collected through the class and
keep reworking the problem statement. I saw new information in the
interviews since I was looking at it in a new perspective.

I developed ideas around a mentor
group and what they could do and
interviewed someone about this.
They gave helpful feedback about
the mix of people who would attend
the mentorship group, what they
would do, and how often they meet.
I adjusted and developed the
curriculum after that.

I reworked the curriculum based off of the
feedback. Then further worked to develop it.

I’ve developed a sample program format, kind of a
curriculum for a mentorship program. The stakeholder
who I interviewed graduated from an architecture
program about a year ago and looking for his first job.
He stressed how architecture firms hire within their
network, so getting into the network is very important.
This small group of about 5 people would range from a
student to a professional with 5–8 years of experience.
This would help the students understand type of work
and professional experience with leadership, which
would help them advance in the workforce.
WHO PARTICIPATES
5 People would be in the group and be made up of:
1 :: professional with 5–8 years of experience
1 :: professional with 1–2 years of experience
1–2 :: recent grad
1–2 :: senior student

talk about what it’s like.
MEETING 2
Group discussion of job hunting techniques
MEETING 3

and resume review
MEETING 4
Studio tour by someone outside the group and within
the group’s network
