interviewed someone about this.

the mix of people who would attend
the mentorship group, what they
would do, and how often they meet.

I’ve developed a sample program format, kind of a
curriculum for a mentorship program. The stakeholder
who I interviewed graduated from an architecture
program about a year ago and looking for his first job.
He stressed how architecture firms hire within their
network, so getting into the network is very important.
This small group of about 5 people would range from a
student to a professional with 5–8 years of experience.
This would help the students understand type of work
and professional experience with leadership, which
would help them advance in the workforce.
WHO PARTICIPATES
5 People would be in the group and be made up of:
1 :: professional with 5–8 years of experience
1 :: professional with 1–2 years of experience
1–2 :: recent grad
1–2 :: senior student

The group would meet every other week over 12 weeks
and document their process through the weeks. This
would allow the group to get to know each other and
straighten their network.

Studio tour of the most experienced professional in the
group. They can show process, examples of work, and
talk about what it’s like.

The group would have mock interviews with portfolio
and resume review
