Meaning
It is one the module of DSF. Gender is defined as ‘the relations between men and women, both
perceptual and material. Gender is not determined biologically, as a result of sexual characteristics
of either women or men, but is constructed socially.
There are some difference between man and women.
Physically
Mentally
Dressing, hairstyle, voice , sensitivity, appearance, walking style, thinking style, hobbies, stature,
work nature these all are example for man and woman difference.
Gender
Assigned social roles. Gender roles are the social definition of women and men. They have
different role in society. They vary among difference societies and cultures, classes, ages, and
during different periods.
Gender relations are the ways in which a culture or society defines rights, responsibilities, and the
identities of men and women in relation to one another.
Sex
Biological differences.
Sharing responsibility
Male and female have their own responsibility. Like men have protect to family, maintaining
finance, he helps to do the all work to women he is care taker of whole family.
Female have she is a home maker, care taker of children and family members. , shopping.

Both are work to develop their family lead the life happily. When both are divide their than they
are very happy. Now days both are working outside therefore work distribution is very necessary,
Like when male in home he will do home works like wash vessels, cloths. When woman is able to
do the outside work like bill paying of phone electricity that time she will do that time than only
lead their life very happily.
Why male makes all the decisions
He has finical hold
He has control of all family members.
He is boss of family
He never wants to give chance to woman.
Restrictions of society.
Why female cries and male does not?
Restrictions of society.
He understands crying is weakness.
He didn’t want to show his weakness.
Changes of myself
I want to change these things in society and family.
I will help my father his daily activity and finically. My parents have some dreams
regarding me I want to full that dreams and make them happy. When I will go to return
my village that time I want to change some social roles. I know it is not easy but I will try
go to step by step and I will get success. I want change these following things.
Give respect to women, which type I give men that type.
I will tell to parents give education to girls.
When childhood marriages are going on that time I will tell to what is effects of that
marriage.
I will give some contribution to society.
Conclusion
I got this in this module what is the role men and women. I decided to help the society .
In this model has some activity, I got some roles to my life. It was very good to make our
happy.
