2. MANAGEMENT:
EQUIPMENT
• Before producing my pictures I had to book the green
room and the camera so that I could use them at specific
times that would suite both me and my model.
• In this I had to then manage taking the pictures with the
camera and using the different lighting to help create the
image.

3. MANAGEMENT:
MODEL
• I had to manage the times that the model turned up for the
shoot so that I could arrange a specific time that we were
both free.
• I also had to arrange the outfit of the model
so that their style would fit the style of
magazine genre I was trying to produce
and the colour scheme I was portraying
throughout the magazine.
• This had changed from my preliminary task
as I did not specifically style my models for
that shoot.

4. MANAGEMENT:
TIME
• Compared to my preliminary task I have managed my time
a lot better as there was a lot more tasks to complete than
in the preliminary task with a wider range of elements to
be considered such as genre, colour schemes, props and
lighting.
• I think my time management could of still been better if I
had got my photos done a bit earlier to give myself more
time to create my music magazine front cover, contents
page and double page spread.

5. MANAGEMENT:
RESEARCH
• I had to do a lot more target research in my main task than
in my preliminary task as I had to ensure my music
magazine was appealing to the audience I was aiming
for, attracting them to my magazine.
• This took more time than in my preliminary task as my
college magazine was clearly aimed for students whereas I
had to do a lot more research into how to appeal my
magazine to a specific genre of music listeners.

6. MANAGEMENT:
CREATION
• It took me far longer to create my main task than it did to
create my preliminary task as I had to consider far more
elements than the college magazine.
• Also I had to try and make all aspects of my magazine
original and unique so that it would stand out against
other magazines, appealing to the target audience at the
same time.
