PRODUCT DESCRIPTION : Lube oil is is a semi synthetic water-mix metalworking fluid, which does not

2. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION

HEALTH HAZARDS :
• No significant effects expected
ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS :
• This preparation does not require classification on the basis of environmental hazard.
PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL HAZARDS / FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARDS :
• Low hazard. Material can form flammable mixtures or can burn only upon heating to temperatures
at or above the flash point.

3. FIRST AID MEASURES

INHALATION :
• Not expected to be a problem in well-ventilated area. Using proper respiratory protection,
immediately remove the affected from overexposure victim. Administer artificial respiration if
breathing is stopped. Keep at rest. Call for prompt medical attention.
SKIN CONTACT :
• In case of frequent or prolonged contact, flush with large amounts of water; use soap if available.
EYE CONTACT :
• Immediately flush eyes with large amounts of water for at least 15 minutes. Get prompt medical
attention.
INGESTION :
• If swallowed, DO NOT induce vomiting. Keep at rest. Get prompt medical attention. If greater
than 0.5 liter ingested, immediately give 1 or 2 glasses of water and call physician and hospital for
assistance.

4. FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES

FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURES :
• Use water spray to cool fire exposed surfaces and to protect personnel.
• Use foam, dry chemical, or water spray to extinguish fire source.
SPECIAL FIRE PRECAUTIONS:
• Respiratory and eye protection required for fire fighting personnel.
• Avoid spraying water directly into storage containers due to danger of boil over.
• Prevent runoff from fire or dilution from entering streams, sewers, or drinking water supply.

material from direct sunlight.
• DO NOT pressurize, cut, heat, or weld containers. Empty product containers may contain product
residue. DO NOT reuse empty containers without commercial cleaning or reconditioning.

8. TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION

INHALATION :
• Negligible hazard at ambient (-20 to 60 Deg C) or recommended blending temperature.
WARNING :
• Repeated and prolonged overexposure to oil mists may result in droplet deposition, oil granuloma
formation, inflammation and increased incidence of infection.
SKIN CONTACT :
• Low order of toxicity.
• Frequent or prolonged contact may cause mild skin discomfort.
EYE CONTACT :
• mild irritation. If not removed promptly, will injure eye tissue, which may result in permanent
damage.
INGESTION :
• Minimal toxicity.

9. DISPOSAL CONSIDERATIONS

• This product is NOT suitable for disposal by either landfill or via municipal sewers, drains,
natural streams or rivers.
• This product will generate an ash if burned.
