4. Transport Arrangements
•Arrive at school no later than 5.45 am on Friday 28th
June
•Leave school bus bay at 6.00am Friday morning
•Take Eurotunnel at 14.20 from Folkestone to Calais
•Arrive at the chateau at approximately 18.30
•Leave chateau no later than 9.00am on Monday morning
•Arrive at school at approximately 21.30 Monday evening

5. What will we be doing?
Friday – evening meal, dormitory allocation, tour of
chateau and fire/safety procedures
Saturday – Morning in Dieppe, afternoon activities
at the centre or visit Rouen
Sunday – Parc Astérix
Monday – journey home, arriving at approx. 21:30
We will visit Nausicaa, an aquarium, on the way to
Calais.
6. Groups
Each pupil will be allocated a member of staff at the
pupil meeting before we leave.
Pupils do not have to stay in these groups during the
trip!
Pupils will be able to choose dormitory arrangements
once room sizes have been finalised.
7. What to pack
•Normal school equipment
•Clothes for variable
weather
•Sensible shoes
•Waterproof jacket
•Towels
8. What not to pack!
•Mobile phones
•Expensive electrical equipment is covered by the
insurance policy – but pupils are responsible for their
own belongings
9. FOOD
Once we arrive at the Chateau all meals are
provided, including a packed lunch for the return
journey on Monday.
Pupils will need a packed lunch for the outward
journey and possibly some English money to buy
food on Monday evening.
10. MONEY!
£50 is more than enough.
English money for the journey.
Money should already be changed
into Euros.
Euros in envelope and handed to
allocated teacher on the morning of
departure.
11. MEDICATION
• Pink form for any medication to be
administered by staff to Miss Jones by Friday
21/06
• If pupil is to carry their own medication
complete blue form and return by Friday 21/06
•Medication - in clearly labelled envelope to
allocated staff member on Friday 28/06
12. Rules
Behaviour Agreement – please sign and return one copy
to school by Friday 21st
June.
Pupils must:
•remain in groups of at least three at all times
•listen to staff carefully at all times
•carry their green card and contact card at all times
