- 6 years ago I organise a cardiac arrest in the accident and Emergency room. It takes a stubborn doctor 7 attempts to restart and stabilise my heart. In recovery I accept that my work here is not done. My path now is to make the world healthier and wealthier before I go. This talk is a vital part of making the world better able to create wealth.
- Entrepreneurs are the engine room of our economies. Small companies contribute more to employment. Small companies contribute most to the economy. Western nations will emerge from the depression as their entrepreneurs learn to build new companies. Most people who set up in business stop at one company. In fact the energy to start up new enterprises gets easieer after the first one. I have found the map that sets out the steps to ebcoming an entrepreneur. This has been done by studying successful business people and spotting the common pattern that they unconsciously use. You can learn what they figureed out, but without going through the pain they experienced
- For the past six years, I have operated a coahcing business and added new bsuinesses as I have learned the path. I have watched other businesses and kept my focus on what they are doing that consistently works. As this story unfolds, you’ll see stories that resonate with yoru own experience. You’ll see the patterns popping up that maybe you didn’t notice as they were happening. I am convinced by the evidence that the steps I am going to show you are the over arching pattern that business people have used for years. They all arrive at this pattern eventually. Today could save you years of effort and learning from mistakes. Other have already made them so you don’t have to
- I have been coaching this pattern with all my entrepreneur clients and the ideas all work. I used to explain that I was basically a coach and now I introduce myself as a businessman.i have one business that oncetrates on coaching, one on training, one on speaking and publishing and last year I set up to licence intellectual property, creating new busienss opportunities. If I can do this, you certainly can
- Before we go further, intorduce your self to someone you don’t know until now. Tell them your name and how you describe your work. Then tell them whether you make a little money and spend first then save whatever’s left at the end of the month – or if you save a lttle first and then only spend what’s left. So are you a SPENDER or a SAVER? Now let’s find out how that went How many people did you meet who described themselves by theor job pr profession? “I’m a lawyer” “I’m a plumber” How many spenders did you meet? Who are the savers? So we have two limiting relationships to change here today – one to yourself and the other towards money. Take a good look at the savers -5 years from now, we’ll all be working for them
- I have told this story to hundreds of bsuienss people now and they have all told me that I have found a piece that they missed. This work sets out to provide you with the fewest pieces but to provide you with all the pieces you need to make it. as an entrepreneur. The reason it has been built is that your work is really important. Remember that about half the economy comes from heroes like you. It’s my mission ot help you to succeed
- Just for a moment, say to yourself – “ I am an entrepreneur” or if you prefer “I am a businessperson” and notice how that lands inside. How does that feel? More empowering and less limiting?
- The first and in my view most important step is to change your label. The way you describe yoruself is the door that opens into your story. It’s how you will be remembered by other people. Give yourself permission to be huge
- By holding on to your label defined by your job or profession, you say in brackets “I’m only” Opening that out enables your resources to conspire with the universe and begin to play a much bigger game
- Setting up your first business is the hardest step – it takes the most energy and effort. Once you learn the steps, opening your next stream of businesses is straightforward and will enable your deserved wealth to flow
- Why did you set up in business, other than to make money? Are you still conencted to that intent, or have you lost touch with it. I am here to encourage you ot ebcome healthier and wealthier. This programme will show you how to become wealthier. It shows you what to do next without needing to go through the pain that others have endured in their experience

- I curretnly believe that setting up in busienss for yoruself is the scariest thing to contemplate if you have been employed all your life. And anyone who has gone into bsienss for themselves do not normally go back to being employed again. Sometimes, the first business doesn’t work out. It that case, the ones who go again after falling on their backsides are stronger and wiser enxt time. They usually find ways to start again with less money and effort. Learning. What most people don’t realise is that the first business takes a load of energy to get momentum and that all the other ones are easy by comparison. Having openeed the first one, you have done the hard yards.
