3. Paris is located in northern France, north of the great
bend of the river Seine. The climate is oceanic
continental Paris, also called climate of transition, found
off the coast. Rainfall is abundant but not anything
excessive.
It has a population of 2,200,000 inhabitants in 2007 and,
together with London, the most important economic
center of Europe.
4. The city is a popular tourist destination in the world,
with more than 26 million foreign visitors per year. It
has many of the most famous and admired
monuments of the world: the Eiffel Tower, Notre
Dame, the Champs Elysees and the Arc de
Triomphe. It is one of the most important cultural
centers.
Of these, the largest and the most beautiful for me
is the Eiffel Tower and I will comment a bit of it.
