There are five factors that influence health Genetic, Behavioral, Socioeconomic status,
environmental and institutional/social.
Genetics which include race, race is frequently used by clinical and biomedical researchers to
make influences about individual’s ancestry and to predict whether an individual carries specific
genetic risk that influence health. For example genetics can be used to determine the cause of
disease
Environmental behaviors such as being physically active contribute to a good health. Several
studies conducted by the California Department of Education have shown that being physical
active influences your health by increasing the brain functions and nourishment increasing
higher chances of performing.
