Totals <ul><li>Compute the total number of games for each team in Column D </li></ul><ul><li>Select D4 </li></ul><ul><li>In the formula bar at the top enter this: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>= B4 + C4 (no spaces) </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Press ENTER </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>The total number should appear in cell D4 </li></ul></ul>
  7. 7. Totals <ul><ul><ul><li>Click on D4 and drag your mouse down to D9 </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>With the text still highlighted, click Edit then Fill, then Down </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>This adds all your scores without making you add each team. </li></ul></ul></ul>
  8. 8. Percent of Wins <ul><li>The formula for percent is Wins divided by Total </li></ul><ul><li>Games times 100. This is a 2 step process. </li></ul><ul><li>Click on cell E4 </li></ul><ul><li>Enter this formula into the formula line </li></ul><ul><ul><li>=B4/D4*100 </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Now, click on E4 and highlight to E9 </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Click Edit, Fill, Down </li></ul></ul>
  9. 9. Changing decimal points <ul><li>Highlight Column E </li></ul><ul><li>Go to Format – Cells – Number </li></ul><ul><li>You can change the number of decimal places by using the up arrow </li></ul><ul><li>Click OK </li></ul>
  10. 10. Congratulations <ul><li>You have now completed your first spreadsheet </li></ul>
