UCLN is about a group of newly enrolled
university students who all have special
powers, unknown to each other.
They all meet via fate when earth is under
attack from the evil alien race ‘Necrokraken’.
The aliens arrive in London and try to destroy
the characters with powers, and kill anything
in their way.

A raging battle lasts for a majority of the film,
with all the main stars losing their life before
the end, until Mr Stoker (Liam Neeson) has
the final battle in space after being abducted.
6. Why the title ‘UCL
Nightmare’?
We chose the title because it is simple and
catchy.
It can be shortened to UCLN

The film will have all the main science fiction
features such as aliens and spaceships
It will also include features of horror, such as
gore and jumpy scenes.
The target audience is the over 18’s, mainly
boys but also for any sci-fi fanatic.

film?

We will advertise predominately in university
towns, as this is where our target audience
will mostly be staying.

UCL Nightmare is a brand new sci-fi film, with a twist. (slide) This film has an element of gore and horror, which will make it a 18+ or R rated film.
UCL Nightmare has a simple yet effective plot about an alien invasion happening in London, set during the modern-day. The main characters all meet at University College London, East London and unknown to each other in the beginning, all have superpowers.
We have casted notable actors from many roles for our film including Chloe Grace Moritz from Kickass in the lead female role and Liam Neeson from notable action films as lecturer Mr Stoker, who takes charge of the group in the fight against the alien invasion led by Jim Parsons (Sheldon Cooper in the Big Bang Theory). We believe we have chose a suitable cast and although some maybe outside their comfort zone, they will be a success and generate a wider audience.
The plot contains a light sci-fi topic, with the alien invasion but to make it an R-rated we have added more amount of gore and scary scenes. We created an alien tribe called the Necrokraken, who discover these people living on earth have special powers and therefore have to be deceased.
We decided killing off some of the characters during the duration of the film will make a more enticing production. The final battle scene will be the only scene set in space, despite the film being a sci-fi.
The title of our film is very basic yet we think it gives you a clue to what the movie will be about. UCL is the name of location and the ‘nightmare’ part doesn’t give too much away about it being a sci-fi.
Our target market is obviously the adults due to the nature of the film, but boys more than girls because of the genre. It’s an 18+ because will we add content of a sexual and scary nature. Added gore will also be included.
