1. Second group verbs
The present tense of regular verbs ending in -ir consists of the stem of the verb plus the following
endings:
je __is
tu __is
il/elle/on __it
nous __issons
vous __issez
ils/elles __issent

2. How to conjugate second group verbs
Some common (regular) 2nd group verbs:
batir - to build
choisir - to choose
grandir - to grow
grossir - to get fat/put on weight
guerir - to heal/get better
maigrir - to lose weight/slim down
reflechir - to think/reflect
remplir - to fill/fill in
reussir - to succeed
Infinitive Stem Add correct ending to
agree with subject
