Summary
I am a Director-Level IT Professional adept at transforming
technology and improving business performance. My experience
covers multiple disciplines of Information Technology (IT) and
Information Systems (IS). I have facilitated revenue growth by
architecting and implementing cost-effective, robust and flexible
IT systems and infrastructure. Cloud, Mobile, Social and Big Data
are all disruptive forces in the IT industry that are impacting
businesses. My focus is how to embrace these changes and hit
the target with the agility needed to achieve strategic business
goals.
Cloud Computing offers many advantages over traditional IT and needs to be managed to provide the
foundation for Social, Mobile and Big Data processing. It should not be thought of as a way of saving
money, but as a way of providing agility to the business. One of its major tenants is elastic scalability,
which provides on demand capacity to support changing processing requirements.
Corporations throughout the world re-invent the wheel every day doing common tasks such as e-mail,
backing up data, maintaining and improving CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems. This is
where cloud can be easily introduced in to a business’s IT portfolio freeing up resources to do more
productive business differentiating tasks.
As an IT Consultant I provide IT support, research, development and recommendations which include
the application of cloud technologies. My goal is to find full time employment where I can utilize my vast
knowledge and experience in a strategic role.
