1. Free: Professional Fix iPhone 6 Plus
no touch disease
We received a damaged iPhone 6 from our customer, the
problem is iPhone 6 plus touch screen doesn't respond. In
a word, iPhone 6 Plus touch function not working. Actually,
iPhone "touch disease" is a common issue for Apple users.
Now, we will share an professional solution to fix iPhone 6
Plus no touch issue.
1. Disassemble the iPhone by JM-9102 Disassemble Tool;
take out the iPhone motherboard to check A8 CPU. It's
easy to determine if the CPU has a problem. Install the
iPhone LCD screen to test the iPhone white touch IC
power supply 1.8V and 5.1V, if all is fine, that means the
2. CPU is fine.
Touch Logic Working time: After the CPU provides
communication to the white touch signal line, the power
supply IC provides 1.8V power supply to the white touch,
display IC provides 5.1V power supply to the white touch.
The power supply for both lines is normal, which means
the iPhone has no touch disease is not caused by a CPU
circuit.
2. Continue to check the iPhone motherboard, we found
6-pin sync tubes missing, and one pin was gone. Short
connect this sync tubes with jump wire. Use the QUICK
861DW soldering station to make the jump wire from
black touch IC M1 pin to sync tubes, then install the
iPhone and test it. However, the problem still exists.
What's going on? Keep checking.
3. During the iPhone boot process, we found the iPhone
display color will be distorted and the color will fade.
According to experience, this situation should be caused
by black touch IC negative pressure work abnormal. Use
3. multimeter to measure the black touch IC +-5.7V, it is
normal. Then we measure the black touch -12V C2438, its
power is pulled down into -5.3V, looks like the problem is
on this circuit. Only capacitor C2438 and black touch on
this circuit, the black touch IC has been replaced; now we
replace the C2438. Then measure it, and the negative
pressure 12V is normal. However, after testing, the iPhone
still no touch. Keep checking.
4. After testing, we found there is a disconnection between
the sync signal and the test point. Directly weld the jump
wire from sync signal to test point. Now, assemble the
iPhone and test it again, the iPhone display screen can be
touch now, and it response perfectly.
