1. Indonesia Independence Day Golf Tournament 2014
Tournament General Rules and Conditions
1. General
a) The “Indonesia Independence Day” golf tournament will be played annually under the
control of the PGP (“Paguyuban Golf Perth”) committee.
b) The Tournament is in accordance to the R&A Australian rules and the local rules of Glen
Irish Public Golf Course with some modification from tournament committee as follows:
(1) Maximum Score for each hole is double par. Where you can pick up your ball when
your score is double par. (for par 4 hole maximum score is 8, par 3 hole maximum
score is 6 and par 5 hole maximum score is 10).
(2) On the green, you may pick up your ball if your ball is located less than a grip
(~20cm) of a club from the hole. Please ask your pairing prior to lift the ball. It
counts as 1 stroke (i.e. after 4 strokes your ball is within a grip [~20cm] distance
from the hole. You may pick up the ball and score is 5 strokes in your card).
(3) Lost Ball in the NON OB zone should get one stroke penalty. 2 strokes penalties are
applied in OB zone. You should place/drop your ball in the entry point to the losing
spot.
c) Any issue regarding rules should be discuss within pairing and follow the rules of golf and
local rules, unresolved issue should be address to the tournament captain Mr Tur Nugroho.
2. Format
a) The Tournament is a round of stroke play over 18 holes.
b) There will be 2 groups comprising of the “A” group for the players with handicap 0 to 20
and the “B” group for the players with handicap 21 to 36 (max. handicap).
c) The Committee will only acknowledge the handicap that has been declared by players
prior to the first kick off, your cooperation to declare the right handicap based on
Australian Golf Association is highly appreciated. Maximum handicap is 36.
d) One score card per Player, please add one of your pairing in your score card, you and your
pairing should sign the score card at the end of the round (please note that the score card
will also be used for lucky draw)
3. Prizes
a) The Main Tournament Trophy will be awarded to the best gross score where her/his name
will be placed in the Trophy. The Trophy will be kept by committee. Another Trophy will
be awarded to the best gross winner.
b) Trophies will also be awarded to each group (A and B) for the 3 best net winners (1st best
net, 2nd best net and 3rd best net), the longest drive and nearest to the pin.

2. c) In the event of the tie score for the tournament winner, the players with lower handicap
will be decided as the winner. In the event of tie score for both score and handicap, the
winner will be decided by committee by using back count method.
4. Other
a) Players shall play without undue delay and in accordance with any pace of play guidelines
b) All decision from Tournament Captain and Committee are final, any objection should be
address immediately before the tournament closed
