to aid in the reading process!
 Picture Books:
 Where the Wild
things are.
 Splat the Cat
 Marley and Me
 Chapter Books:
 The tree house
kids series
 Worksheets
 Coloring pages
 Reading circles
 Skits
 Movies if they match
up with the books
 I.e. Where the wild
things are.
 How to understand that a
book has a beginning, middle
and end that go together to
make the story.
 To be able to tell the plot ,
and meaning behind a story
 To be able to comprehend,
and remember the things you
read in the book.
 To be able to read the books
all the way through, and
discuss them in the end.
The reading block will be starting
this week and go through out the
next two weeks. Be ready to dive
into new worlds, and experience
the power of imagination and
reading!!
