1. Welcome to the presentation of Sabadell
The coordinates of the center of Sabadell are these:
41º 32’54.93 “N,2º 6’27” E
Sabadell is now the capital of Vallés Occidental
which is the fifth region of Catalonia and it has
207.338 inhabitants.

2. THE INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION
Sabadell was innovator in the industrial
revolution of Catalonia. In the XIX century
Sabadell became the most important city of
Spain making wood.
In that century Sabadell became the most
important city of Spain and it was called
“Manchester Catalana”

3. OLD SABADELL
The center grew around what is known as “La
Salud”. Formerly, the Iber inhabitants called it
Arraona.
3,800 years ago, Sabadell was yet an
important city of countrymans and agricultors.
