1. Script
Scene One – The Stair Case
Walter: What are they doing up there?
Henry: I know. How long we been’ waiting now? An hour?
Walter: NANCY! NANCY! Get your arse down here now we’re gonna be late.
Nancy and Rita walk down the stairs.
Nancy: We’re here, god what’s the rush?
Walter: I’ll tell you what the rush is, us waiting down here for over an hour! Now
come on lets go.
Henry just nods and agrees.
Scene Two – Enter the Bar
Walter, Henry, Nancy and Rita walk into the bar.
Walter: So ladies what do you want to drink?
Rita: Double martini for me please Walter.
PAUSE (few seconds)
Walter: Nancy!!
Nancy: Sorry what? I was in a world of my own.
Rita: What do you want to drink?
Nancy: Just a diet coke for me.
Walter: You sure that’s all you want?
Nancy: yeah.
Walter and Henry go to get the drink for them and the girls. They are unaware a
detective is standing at the bar.
Bar Tender: So……….. what can I get you gentlemen?
Walter: Double Martini, a diet coke and two whiskeys darlin’ oh and don’t kip on
the ice.
The camera shows a medium shot looking suspiciously at Walter.
Walter: GOD DAM WHATS WRONG WITH YOU WOMAN!?! You’ve been off with
me all day. I know, I know your slutty little secret. You can’t keep anything from
me. Why would you even think you’d get away with it?
Nancy: I’m sorry. I’m sorry its jus… (Walter shouts and cuts in)
Walter: sorry? Hahahahaha I haven’t heard a funnier joke in all my life.
Nancy: I just…..
Walter: You just what?
Nancy: You where away and I, I felt lonely. I needed someone and you weren’t
there (Said in a said sobbing voice) I needed you Walter. I needed you.
Walter: THAT’S NO EXCUSE! (raises hand) GET OUT OF MY SIGHT!

2. Nancy runs away out of fear.
Nancy stands outside to touch up on her makeup. Little does she know what
terrible fate waits for her. A strange looking man (The bad guy) is stood over the
over the other side of the road watching her. He is smoking a rare brand of cigar,
wearing a trench coat and a trilby; it is had to see his face. The camera shows him
walking over it cuts to showing a hand around Nancy’s throat, she is pinned up
against the wall. It then cuts to a black screen and we hear her scream.
Walter has calmed down and walks out of the bar to find Nancy to his
amazement she is nowhere to be seen but he notices her makeup shattered
across the floor. He is worried so he runs inside the bar and tells the others.
Walter: Guys, Nancy isn’t outside. I’m worried.
Rita: Walter she’s probably gone home. Stop worrying, sit down and finish your
drink.
Walter: No, no something’s happened her makeup was shattered all over the
floor.
Detective: I work for the NYPD (shows his badge) take me outside and show me
where the makeup is.
They both walk outside and Walter shows the detective where he found the
makeup. The detective notices a cigar bud on the floor next to it.
Detective: This is a rare brand of the finest cigars shipped from Russia I only
know one co man who uses this brand.
