mandatorily submit the project/assignment work to
AAFM India.
There are 2 Stages of Project Work
Stage 1
Project Objective: Gathering Financial Data from
a Real Client.
Client Profile: Ideal client from whom we gather
the Data sheet should be married person with
kids and currently employed.
Tools: Data Gathering Sheet and Excel Sheet
Provided to you at the time of Registration.
Project Work:
1. Identify a Prospect fulfilling the above
criterion.
2. Tell the prospect about the benefit of Wealth
Planning and the steps involved in it.
3. Assure the prospect about the confidentiality
of Data. (We do not require the contact details
etc. of the prospect.)
4. On getting a consent from the prospect
ensure that the Data Gathering Sheet is filled
in your presence.

5. Replicate the Contents of the Data Gathering
Sheet to Excel File provided to you.
6. Ensure that you gather Complete, Correct
and Accurate Data.
7. Mail both the Files to AAFM India

2. Experience Pathway: Before Appearing for

Project Objective: Prepare a ‘WEALTH PLAN’
for a Real Client.
Client Profile: Real Client Data is shared with the
Candidate.
Tools: Data Gathering Sheet of a Real Client is
shared with the candidate. A sample Wealth Plan
is also shared.

Process:
1. Thoroughly Study the Data Gathering Sheet.
2. Prepare the Personal Financial Statements for
the Client based on the Data Provided.
3. Follow the Wealth Planning Steps to prepare
a Wealth Plan for the Client.
4. Assume data that is required and not
provided put these as assumptions in the
Plan.
5. Prepare the working sheets on MS Excel to
do Scenario Analysis.
6. Present the Plan in a simple and easy to
follow format.
7. Use Graphics and Tables extensively.
Due Date:
1. Candidate is sent the Project Work After
Clearing Level 2 Examination and Applying
for the Certification.
2. A time period of 15 Days is provided to
submit the Project Work.
3. The Candidates details would be forwarded
for issuance of the Designation only after
approval of the Project Work.

Compulsory Pathway
The eligibility criterion to register for the CWM
certification through Compulsory Pathway is that
the candidate must have passed minimum 12th
Standard but minimum a graduate to hold the

Experience Pathway

certification through Experience Pathway is that the
candidate must have passed Graduation with 3
years of minimum work experience.
