4. Duties
• Assist teacher in classroom presentation, instruction and behavior
management
• Monitor hallways, gymnasium and cafeteria
• Assist with cleanup as needed
• Assist with afternoon student pick-up procedure (afternoons)
• Establish positive learning expectation standards for all students
• Exhibit an understanding and respect for students
• Attend required staff meetings
• Attend class field trips
• Related duties as needed
8. My Experience
My greatest surprise was that there were programs like these that helped
kids get ready for the next grade but also taught them how to play arts and
music.
My favorite experience was helping the kids with things such as math and
seeing how excited they got when they went on field trips.
