In recent months, regulators in Nevada have begun to
make changes to the state’s gaming rules. The
changes would allow casinos to install skill-based
electronic gambling devices. Usually, electronic
gaming devices, such slot machine, rely entirely on
chance.

believe skill-based gambling arcades would attract
more young people than traditional gaming

Nevada’s legislature approved the change in a bill
that passed without opposition. Before the
regulation goes into effect, it must be reviewed by

Gaming Commission and the Gaming Control
Board.
Nationwide, skill-based gaming is catching on.
Earlier this year, New Jersey, home to Atlantic
City, approved skill-based games.
