These past two weeks I have noticed the shop getting a lot busier. It is
interesting to see how one stormy day makes it so hardly anyone comes in and on
the sunny warm days it is really crowded. The most interesting thing I did the past
two weeks was getting a big shipment of stuff and having to stock it on all the
shelves and racks. I learned it is very important to make it look good and do it right
the first time. Otherwise I have to go back and fix it. What I find frustrating
sometimes is being called “Grom” and not being trusted fully to do stuff. I do feel
good when I am thanked for helping out. It makes it worth it and I feel like I did
something right. I hope to make my experience better one during the next two
weeks by working hard and learning as much as I can.
I don’t think dishonest people can really ever know who their true friends
are. Since they are always turning their backs on their friends how do they know if
they are doing the same thing to them? It is like a bunch of friends who like to
gossip. It’s cool when your in the circle but what about when your not in it?
I felt like the person had an unfair advantage when they got away with it. It
was like they had a special exception that they could do that when no one else could.
I felt cheated and thought it was unfair for them to do that.
This statement is totally true for me. When an honest person is around a
dishonest person it makes them feel like they are being cheated and used. It makes
the honest person feel like they’re always having to go against their morals. It also
makes it so they feel like they are doing something wrong when they didn’t.
