2. Hello,
A warm welcome to the 8th edition of the Airtel Delhi Half Marathon!
This presentation is an exercise to help you understand the proceedings on race day, so
that you can guide your group runners/employees or participants supporting your NGO.
This information is also part of event handbooks created respectively for each race
category emailed or handed over at the Expo, depending upon what the participant has
opted in the application form.
The countdown to race day has begun and we wish you a safe and sporting race day on
Sunday, 29th November 2015.

3. All races start & finish from/at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
Entrance to the stadium complex: from Gate No. 14 (on the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium Marg) and
Gate No. 8 (below the Barapullah elevated road). Do factor in time of around 45 minutes to enter
Gate No. 14 and Gate No. 8 due to security checks.
IMPORTANT: Due to security reasons, only confirmed participants of the Airtel Delhi Half Marathon
2015 wearing the valid running number bib and Event crew will be allowed entrance into the
stadium. Participants are requested to make necessary arrangements to meet their friends/family/
supporters, pre and post the run, strictly outside the stadium premises.

5. YOUR RUNNING NUMBER BIB
DO NOT misplace your running number bib – we cannot issue you a replacement.
DO NOT exchange or handover your bib to another person to wear and run …
Your bib number is synched to your personal details with us, we will not be able to service the
correct runner in case of any race emergency, especially medical.
Details on timing certificates (w.r.t. Half Marathon & DHL Corporate Champions) will not be
changed due to any exchange of bibs.
Your race day photo recognizes you only from your running number – the person in photo and
name will not match !
Any interchange will result in disqualification from the 2015 and 2016 editions of the event. Further
Procam International reserves the right to take necessary legal action for impersonation against the
registered participant and the person who has used the running number bib on race day.

Its important that you fill in the required details at the
back of your bib. These details will be useful in case of
any emergencies on race day.

Important: Please note that you will be allowed to
enter specific areas only within the holding area
depending upon the line up area specifies on your
bib.
9. The timing bib tag is affixed on the reverse of your bib. Please ensure –
Wear the bib number horizontally and visibly on the chest, and NOT on your back.
Do not remove or cover the bib with anything including your jacket during your run. Always
remember that the timing mat must see your bib when you cross it. Donation boxes will be
placed in the holding area. Your discarded jacket will be donated to an NGO.
The bib tag is stuck on the back of your bib.
DO NOT fold or crumple your number bib or bib tag.
While pinning on the number bib, ensure you DO NOT pierce the tag.
DO NOT remove the foam spacer or tamper with the bib tag in any way.
DO NOT separate or remove the bib tag from the bib.
DO NOT keep your bib near any electronic device pre your race (eg: television set, mobile, etc.)

Important: Please do ensure you go over the mat placed at designated timing split points. This is essential to
capture your split timings. Rankings will not be generated for runners who miss running over the mats at
split points; such runners will not be entitled to be considered under prize money winning positions.

turn left on Lodhi Road – take u-turn from Second Avenue road – go straight
on Lodhi Road & turn left on Mathura Road – go straight on Mathura Road –
turn left on Subramaniam Bharti Marg – turn right on Dr. Zakir Hussain Marg
– go inside India Gate hexagon – turn left towards India Gate – go straight
towards Rajpath – turn right on Rafi Ahmed Kidwai Marg – turn left on Red
Cross Road – turn right towards Parliament Street – go straight on Sansad

14. Post Your Run Once you cross the Finish Line, keep moving ahead – your
fellow runners too would be crossing the finish line.

Finisher Medal will not be posted individually to finishers.

Refreshment distribution counters
A post event refreshment pack will be handed over at the refreshment
counters post the finish line. You will need to show your running number
bib to our volunteers for them to handover the refreshment packet to
you. Do use the disposal bag to throw leftovers in bins at the venue.
Please do not litter in the venue/route premises.

www.marathon-photos.com is the official photographer of
ADHM. Race day photos can be downloaded from the event
website 48 hours after race day.
15. Timing Certificate
Live timing results on race day on www.adhm.procamrunning.in.
Provisional race results and timing results will be uploaded on the official event website post the
race on 29th November 2015.
Timing certificates recording a runner’s race timings will be available for download on the event
website www.adhm.procamrunning.in within 21 working days after race day. Timing certificates
will be issued to those half marathon runners who cross the finish line by 10:10 a.m. on race day.
The certificates will display net finish time, split times and ranking as per net finish time. Rankings
will appear on certificates of only those runners who have crossed the finish line within the
period mentioned above and whose bib tag timings have been reflected across all timing mats on
the course, including start and finish mats. Please note, physical timing certificates will not be
posted to you, these will be available only online for download on the event website.
The timing certificate of the Airtel Delhi Half Marathon 2015 is valid for use as a pre-qualification
in all AIMS certified distance running events across the world.

31. RACE DAY JUDGING
Great Delhi Run participants who wish to enter
for the Jabong Run in Costume contest need
to report at the entertainment stage by 7.30
a.m.
• The judging process will be from 8 a.m. to
9.05 a.m.
• Like all other participants, contestants in
Jabong Run in Costume must be wearing
their running number bibs – the bib must be
clearly visible on top of any costume worn.
• Participants can take part only in ONE
contest category.
• There will be no ties – the decision of the
judges is final and binding.
• After winners are declared, the participants
will be guided to the holding area for start
of the Great Delhi Run.

Entry into the Corporate Cares Tent is strictly against Corporate Care bib number.
India Cares Foundation will take care of all CC participants within the Tent.
Corporate Cares participants must report to the Tent according to the race category they are
participating in.
CC team members participating in the Half Marathon will be guided to the holding area from
the CC Tent.
CC team members participating in the Great Delhi Run will be lined up after Dream Teamers &
VIPs by Procam representatives.
CORPORATE CARE TEAMS
All members of Corporate Cares teams need to assemble at the Corporate Care
Tent, irrespective of race category team members are participating in. However
team members will assemble as per assembly timings mentioned in this
presentation before.
41. CARE CHAMPIONS
All Care Champions will be hosted in the Procam Marquee and led to the start
line at respective start times from the marquee.
Entry to stadium is through Gate 5.
Entry into the Marquee is only against Marquee pass and the Care Champions bib.
Care Champions will be escorted first on the start line of the Great Delhi Run from special entry by
an India Cares Foundation representative.
42. Do not exchange your bib and/or bib tag with another runner, this will amount to disqualified
from 2015 and the next edition.
Baggage storage facility will be available ONLY for Half Marathon and DHL Corporate Champion
participants. Do not store any valuables in the bag. Organizers will not be liable for loss of
baggage or its belongings.
Please ensure your participants reach the venue on time depending upon the race category
he/she is participating as indicated. Participants coming late will not be allowed to participate.
For security reasons, on race day only confirmed participants of the Airtel Delhi Half Marathon
2015 and Event crew will be allowed entry into the Stadium premises. Friends/family/supporters
of participants must arrange to meet ADHM 2015 participants only outside the Stadium
premises.
Entrance into the holding area is based on the wearing of current edition’s bibs of respective
race category.
43. Do not run with pets, babies and non registered participants.
Do not carry gas balloons on the grounds or on the course.
NGO groups can carry company banners and run. However, the banners should not block the
way of others and should easily go through metal detector gates at the entrance gates of JLNS.
Any banners, hoardings fixed by any NGO/company on the route will be removed/defaced.
