on the prevention of
addictions
Meeting in Picanya, 26th February to 3rd March 2013

2. From Tuesday 26th February to Sunday 2nd March, The Polish
Comenius Regio team came to Picanya to work on the scheduled
programme we are involved.
The aim we proposed for this meeting has been fully reached: the
surveys conclusions on teenagers’ addictions have been shown and our
legal framework on drugs and alcohol has been indicated too. We must
also add, this has lead us to work on addictions related to our working
place (labour world).
Also, all the participant projects of the quiz “A day without smoking” were
displayed and we had the opportunity to see how the “Proyecto Hombre”
organization is leading the present commitments in all over Europe with
respect to drug prevention and performance.
All which has been mentioned above and more is an example of
European collaboration, where everybody is engaged, and we hope the
next interactions will be a success too.

3. Tuesday, 26th February
Polish delegation arrived by plane at noon. After a
short rest and refreshing lunch, they visited Picanya’s
Town Hall in the afternoon, followed by a tour around
the town.

4. Wednesday, 27th February
Proyecto Hombre presented a general overlook on addictions in
Valencian Community in the morning. It was a very interesting
talk that let Polish have an idea about the situation in our area.

5. Afterwards, Blanca Soler presented the outcomes of our
survey among students and the legal framework on drugs
in Spain. Raquel Sánchez and Tere Planells had written
and run the survey, with the help of their students.

6. Thursday, 28th February
In the morning we visited Valencia’s city centre. Álvaro Rubio
acted as tourist guide and explained to them the main
features of the city.
In the afternoon, we came back to our school and the Polish
delegation presented the activities they had been doing in the
previous months at their school.

7. Friday, 1st March
In the last working day we all discussed together the
coming activities and visit to Poland in June.
