Bottom Line Must start by 2016 to receive maximum incentive Must start by 2nd year for maximum Can qualify for adopting, implementing, upgrading, or demonstrating MU of certified EHR in 1 st year. Must demonstrate MU in each subsequent year Required to demonstrate MU of a certified EHR every year to qualify for payment Can receive up to 63.75K in incentives Can receive up to 44K, or 48K if in HPSA Can start as soon as NC program launches Can start as soon as Federal Program launches Medicaid EHR Incentive Program Medicare EHR Incentive Program
