4. Pilot trial of G-30H
Initial Batch
• First run of material with initial
setup parameters 4.5 hours 165C
• Machine was set up via phone
support after initial electrical
installation
• First two batches progressively
produced favorable results with
little effort dialing machine
settings
5. Pilot trial of G-30H
Batch 3
This batch ran for 4 hours 30 minutes. and is clearly
much lighter in color and fluffier in consistency than
the first one. The inside of the machine was also
nice and shiny, which was not the case with the first
batch, as a lot was caked on to the shaft and the
sides.
Starting product weight for the 2nd batch was 15 lbs
and the processed product weight was 5 lbs.
“I probably had about 5 clamshell containers in the
mix for the 2nd batch”
6. Pilot trial of G-30H
Batch 4
The 3rd batch I just started at 1:30 pm had a
total weight of 7 lbs with 2 lbs (29%) of
clamshells/paper napkins and 5 lbs (71%) of
food waste (pizza slices, avocado peels/seeds
and carrot peels)
7. Pilot trial of G-30H
Batch 5
17 lbs - consisting of heavy raw turkey leg bones,
lots of leek and romaine lettuce ends, along with
a few compostable containers - you could hear
the bones pop when the machine was turned on
:)
After processing:
3 lbs of processed product
6 qts of condensate )
8. Summary of results
• During this past week we ran a total of 5 batches of various consistencies:
Pre weight: Post weight:
batch 1 - 19 lbs - 5.5 lbs
batch 2 - 15 lbs 5 lbs
batch 3 - 7 lbs 2 lbs
batch 4 - 14 lbs 3.5 lbs
batch 5 - 17 lbs 3 lbs
TOTAL: 72 lbs 19 lbs
Overall, in a real world environment we achieved a remarkable 74%
reduction in overall weight.
9. Clam Shell Processing Trial
• I sent off (57) 8x8 clam shell containers to JWCE to be run through the
type of grinder that we could use here. It reduces a full overflowing
trash can of containers down to 4" of loosely packed material :)
• Attractive ROI with a conservative 50% reduction in haul away costs
