Participated in the analysis of several Special Purpose Acquisition Corporation (SPAC) cases,
mainly in the medical and TMT industries, searched materials from Capital IQ and SEC and
integrated information into PowerPoint Analyzed the case of Hony Capital SPAC IPO, including
SPAC terms, transaction consideration, transaction steps and sequence, ownership structure,
corporate governance structure, etc.; the results were presented in PowerPoint Selected
companies that meet the criterial of going public through SPAC within Chinese market (mainly
TMT Industry and Medical Industry), and integrated information into Excel

During my internship in CICC, I was given a task to select several SPAC target companies from

4. the given companies list within 2 days. This is not an easy thing to do as it was my first time
doing research on specific companies, and I had to filter them using criteria. So, firstly, I use
industry as one of the criteria, because of the Covid-19, tourism industry is experiencing a
recession, by which I screened out a few companies. Then I use other criteria like whether the
company has been invested by financial investors, whether the valuation is greater than 100
million dollars, and also analyzed their financial performance, such as the EPS and some
liquidity ratios. Finally, I select 20 companies as SPAC target company. And I also made some
charts and dashboard to give my manager a more intuitive result.
