2. Chapter 6 The American revolution was inspirational to several other countries many countries started to overlook their rulers and adopt the idea of a republican society. The south suffered the greatest losses in the revolutionary war because of immense casualties, several of their crops including tobacco, and many of their slaves were set free by the British during the war to help fight. Although the upper south picked up the pace quickly and eventually got back to where they were before the war. Eventually most of the slaves would settle up in Canada and would be the result of the biggest emancipation effort until the civil war. Whether you fought or hid the revolutionary had touched everyone in the colonies and in some minds of those overseas. Many things were destroyed although much more good came out of the newly formed nation. Although with the nation at its start many struggles including creating a liable currency would follow constructing this new nation.
3. Chapter 7 The confederation eventually started to crumble as did of the revolutionaries beliefs in our nation. The power was to small and the states had to much individual rights versus a nation that is a power of one combined together. The 1780’s was also known as the critical period where many colonists were fighting for organization and more unity. Many were resorting to thinking that maybe a monarchy was the right idea although eventually a newly formed document would grasp everybody’s ambitious beliefs in the nation. Eventually the constitution would be formed as a result of much deliberation and convention and all this as balanced by the debate between the federalists and the anti-federalists
