2. A pine Rockland is a soon to be extinct species of plant that are native on your property .The pine Rockland’s were south Florida’s dominant plant. Taking up 186,000 acres in Miami Rock Ridged, which is a large lime stone outcrop that extends south from the Miami River to the everglades national park. Because of Miami rock ridge’s high elevation, it was the first area to be impacted with development. And over the years with more and more construction it has reduced to only about 20,000 acres. There is lots of ways we can help these plants stay around. We could plant pine Rockland native species in your property. And we can buy them at nurseries that sell native plants. I live in Miami lakes Florida. I have lots of different types of native plants in my Neighborhood like, Wild-coco, coco plum, ball-palm and lots more. My plan is help save these intergraded species.
